Tuesday, November 13, 2018 will be Wilkesboro Elementary School's Picture Make-up Day. If your child did not have their picture made at the beginning of the year, please make sure they have their picture made on this date. These are the pictures that will be used for the yearbook.

Wilkesboro Elementary School would like to honor Veteran's in our community. The Veteran's Day Program will be on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 8:30 AM.

Students from WES will be showcased at Central Services for their art work on Thursday, November 1, 2018 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM.

Congratulations to Mrs. Cardwell's 2nd Grade Class and Miss Huffman's 5th Grade Class for their amazing attendance the first month of school!

Vandyn and Julie, two students at Wilkesboro Elementary, won three free tickets for and Appalachian State Football game. Both students participated in the Appalachian Summer Reading Program. Wilkesboro Elementary School is super proud of both students for representing WES as the top two students in our county for their grade level. Congratulations!

After participating in the Appalachian Summer Reading Program, Luke, a third grader at Wilkeboro Elementary School reaches his goal of reading 1 Million Words.

Wilkesboro Elementary School PTO will host a Fall Festival on October 25, 2018 from 5:00 - 7:30 PM. Event will be held inside the school. Please plan on attending!

PTO is hosting a Back to School Celebration on Thursday, September 20, 2018 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM for our school family. It should be an afternoon filled with loads of fun!

Our first school book fair will be held September 10 - 14. Tuesday, we will be inviting Grandparents in to eat breakfast with their grandchild and attend the book fair.
