As a reminder, Wilkes County Schools will dismiss elementary schools at 12:30 on Wednesday.

 

Please be prepared to receive students early from the bus, and please let your teacher know about your child’s transportation plans.  Please note that the YMCA after school program does not operate on early dismissal days.  

 

Students will be served lunch early on Wednesday in order to accommodate the early dismissal, and this may adjust your child's daily schedule. We ask that you do not plan to join your child for lunch on Wednesday due to the schedule change.

 

Our teachers will participate in required WCS professional development in the afternoon and will not be available for calls, supervision, or conferences.

As a reminder, please note that there is no school for students on  Thursday, October 26 and Friday, October 27.  We hope your family will enjoy a little time off from the school routine while our teachers participate in professional development and required workdays.
