We use ClassDojo as our primary daily communication tool with families. ClassDojo will enable families to see the School Story and Classroom Story and will also allow direct messaging with your child’s teacher and school support staff.  We make weekly School Messenger calls on Sunday evenings between 6 pm and 7 pm with information and events for the upcoming week.  Our school will post an EAGLE CONNECTION newsletter each week that links to each teacher's class newsletter.  In addition, we share information on our official WES Facebook and Instagram pages.  You can find us on Facebook and Instagram @wilkesboroelementary.  Classroom teachers will communicate via Class Dojo, Google Voice, and/or Google Classroom.  You can call our office at 336-838-4261.

We ask that parents be mindful that teacher work hours are 7:20 - 3:50 each day. We advise staff to use “quiet hours'' in ClassDojo, so you may not get an immediate response to messages sent outside of working hours.  Please respect those time boundaries and know that responses will be returned as soon as possible within school business hours.
