Good News Club is an exciting, fun-filled 90 minutes once a week.

March of Dimes

Jr. Beta Club Hosts March of Dime Fundraiser

April 13-17, 2015

Monday - Jelly Bean Jar: Guess how many jelly beans are in the jar.  Winner revealed on Friday afternoon announcements.  $0.50 per guess in the hallway near the doors to the cafeteria.

Tuesday - Dime Derby:  Classes collect dimes (or other coins, dollars, etc.) Class with the most money gets pop ice.

Tuesday - Friday -  Bulletin board posted with staff baby pictures.  Students vote on the cutest baby.  $0.50 per vote. ASU interns will be in the hallway near the doors to the cafeteria.

Wednesday - Blow Away Birth Defects $0.50 cents per blow pop.

Thursday - Look Cool for Kids! Wear your hat and glasses for a donation of $0.50.

Friday - Bring your Baby Photo!  Students bring and share their baby picture for a monetary donation of their choosing.

In honor of child abuse prevention month a blue bow was placed on the Little Free Library and a book has been donated by Wilkes Community Partnership for Children. More INFO

Are you looking for family fun???

TEE-KI TIME Wilkesboro Golf and Games would like to invite you to come out and enjoy yourselves at their family fun-filled establishment. They are currently booking parties! During the month of April, if students come out to play mini golf, their first game will be discounted $3.00 providing, they are either 1) wearing something rocking their school or 3) show their school IDs.




Wilkesboro Elementary received a Green Ribbon Award at the NC PBIS Recognition Ceremony for the 2013-2014 school year. This award was earned by implementing school-wide behavior systems and scoring above 80% for Level I Implementation on the annual evaluation. Congratulations to the PBIS Team, the Wilkesboro Elementary Staff, and Wilkesboro's students for SOARing on a daily basis!
The students, staff, and parents of Wilkesboro Elementary School are very proud of our school. We are a part of the Wilkes County School System.
