Second Quarter:  Fifth Graders have been selected as our student ambassadors. Students had to write an essay and model our school motto of SOAR.



Welcome to Wilkesboro Elementary School. The students, staff, and parents are very proud of our school located at 1248 School Street in Wilkesboro, North Carolina. We are a part of the Wilkes County School System. Our school contains two self-contained exceptional children's classes, two pre-kindergarten classes, and two to three classes at each grade level, kindergarten through fifth. Approximately 434 students attend Wilkesboro School.

Monthly Attendance Winners

A K-2 and a 3-5 class earn the honor each month of displaying the Attendance Award Banner. Help congratulate our high attendance winners for Month 2 (second month in a row).

Our winning class for grades K-2 is Mrs. Johnson's second grade class with 98.4%.

Our winning class for grades 3 – 5 is Mrs. Watkin's 5th grade class with 99.6%.
