2019-2020 Parent Advisory Committee

We will also be recruiting volunteers for the Parent Advisory Team. This team meets four times each year to provide leadership and feedback to the school on school programs, concerns, and interests, If you would like to volunteer, please call Mrs. Spears at 336-838-4261.

PTO Programs

The PTO Executive Committee meets prior to all PTO meetings on the first Thursday of each month. Minutes of the meetings are available upon request  from office. A copy of the financial report is also include with the minutes.

 

We will have three evening PTO meetings throughout the year which will be accompanied by performances by students. These meetings are scheduled for:

• November 7
• February 27
• April 30

 

PTO meetings begin at 6:00 PM and are held in the school gymnasium. We will provide updates on our work and finances at each meeting. All parents are encouraged to attend all PTO programs.

 

 

PTO Traditions

PTO at Wilkesboro has historical been a strong supporter of school and its programs. Throughout the year, we conduct many events that have become time-honored school traditions: Fall Festival, Family Dance, Field Day Water Slide, and many more. We hope that you will consider volunteering to help with these fun traditions.
